Truly Bespoke Home – Umbris Features

All Umbris louvre roofs differ depending on the project, meaning you can create a completely bespoke addition to your home. There are many Umbris features available to suit your requirements.

Umbris patio roofs can be free-standing, post supported, building integrated, floating or fixed louvres. Each style is perfect for a number of different projects. Building integrated patio roofs are ideal for projects where you want to create an indoor-outdoor living space and so need the roof to be attached to your home in some way.

Floating patio roofs are best if you are installing the louvre roof between buildings or areas where space is limited or could be reduced with leg posts. Free-standing louvre roofs will work better when you have a lot more space such as a large garden. Using a free-standing patio roof means you can have a completely separate outdoor living space.

There are many features available to add to your louvre roof. These include lighting, audio systems, weather sensors, additional weather protection and heating. Each feature can be incorporated into any style of patio roof to give you the best outdoor living all year round.

LED lighting and Umbris HeatStrips can be incorporated to create the perfect outdoor living area at any time of day and in any weather. Although the louvre roofs provide shade and shelter, you are also able to incorporate other additional weather protection. Glass elements, external curtains or vertical louvres can be integrated to provide extra levels of protection from the elements.

Vertical fixed louvres can be installed in numerous materials to provide weather protection or privacy. Graded curtains or blinds can provide a wind break and be closed for solar shading or privacy when required.

Incorporating a weather sensor into your design means your patio roof can automatically change to the weather. A rain sensor can be installed to automatically close the louvres when the rain begins, preventing your outdoor area and furniture getting wet.
